Terms
Updated 2026-10-15
These terms are the license you get with Bellsweep, and they are short on purpose.
Who sells it
You pay in USDC, and we sell Bellsweep to you directly. If we also offer payment by card, Polar sells it to you as the seller of record: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends the receipt, under its own buyer terms. Either way, the right to use the app comes from us, under these terms.
Paying in USDC
- The price is 9 USDC, which is 9 US dollars. Nothing is added to it at checkout.
- Your order gets a deposit address of its own, on the network you choose: Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS or Ethereum, and only USDC on that network counts. The order stays open for 14 days.
- A payment up to 0.50 USDC short of the price is accepted, to cover an exchange's withdrawal fee.
- A blockchain payment can't be reversed, and anything sent in another token, on another network, or after the order has closed is not credited. Write to us with the transaction link and we will look into it.
- When the payment is confirmed, your license key appears on the order page and we email it to you.
The trial
Everything works for 14 days from the first time you open Bellsweep, with no account. After that, clicking the menu bar icon still closes what is on screen; a license key adds the keyboard shortcut and clearing the whole backlog.
Your license
- A license is for one person. Use it on any Mac you use yourself. On a Mac that several people use, each of them needs their own.
- Your key includes every update released within two years of the day it was issued. It keeps working on those versions for as long as you like. A version released after that runs as it does after the trial until you buy a new key. We can't promise that a future macOS will still run an old version.
- Don't publish your key or give it to others to use. Your email is written into it.
- If your key leaks or you lose it, write to us from the email you bought with and we will send it again, or issue a new one.
What you may not do
- Change or remove the license check, for yourself or for anyone else.
- Sell or share copies of a key.
When a license ends
A refund ends the license for that purchase. So does sharing or selling a key. Later versions may stop accepting a key whose license has ended. We will not reach into a copy on your Mac: Bellsweep checks keys on the Mac and never reports back.
Warranty and liability
If you buy as a consumer, the law where you live may give you a guarantee that the app works as described, and nothing here reduces it. Beyond that, Bellsweep is provided as is. It closes notifications, so a notification it closes is one you may not have read. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your license, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for harm caused on purpose or through gross negligence.
Refunds
See Refunds: 14 days, no questions asked.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change applies to purchases made after that date and to updates released after it. It never takes away a license you already have.
