Refunds

If Textmode is not right for you, you get your money back. Ask within 14 days of buying and we refund the full price, no questions asked.

How to ask

Write to support@usefulcomputing.com and include the email you bought with. You don't need to give a reason.

• Paid in USDC: tell us an address to send it to, on the network you paid on and one you control. A transfer can't be undone, so check it twice. We send the full price in USDC, pay the network fee, and write back when it is sent.
• Paid by card through Polar: we issue the refund through Polar, which sold you the app, and it goes back to the card or account you paid with. When it shows up is up to your bank.

After 14 days

Write to us anyway. If an update we released stopped the app working on a macOS version it supports, we will fix it or refund you. If you were charged twice, the extra charge is refunded in full.

Your key after a refund

A refund ends the license, so please stop using the key. Textmode checks keys on your Mac and never reports back, so we rely on you for this, and later versions may stop accepting refunded keys.

Your rights

This promise comes on top of any rights the consumer laws of your country give you.
